The Festival, which lasts over 17 days across the country with events and initiatives in person and online, was created to raise awareness on the 2030 Agenda and the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability. Since 2017, all sectors of civil society have been involved in it: institutions, business, private citizens, are brought together by the SDGs and the desire to transform the country, through conferences, exhibitions, concerts, documentaries, flashmobs. This year the Festival will become global: thanks to a collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs the network of Italian embassies in the world will be involved together with international organisations and foreign embassies based in Italy.
