Description: With the 2030 Agenda, the United Nations has adopted common goals for a more just and sustainable world, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). All 193 countries have committed to jointly achieve these 17 goals by 2030. With its Mannheim 2030 mission statement, the city of Mannheim has also set out to implement the goals and contribute to sustainable development. On the interactive city tour, we will learn more about the Sustainable Development Goals and discover together inspiring projects and exciting places where the SDGs are already being implemented in Mannheim.

Description: Trees keep our air and water clean, produce the gas we need to live and provide us with paper, fuel or building material. With forest educator Frank Hoffmann and his dog Emma we take a closer look at these all-rounders. In exciting activities and games we will also learn how trees can help us against climate change.

Description: As a Fairtrade School, we are committed to promoting Fair Trade at our school, e.g. through the eineweltladen or the school's own clothing company KEAFEA. On the occasion of Fair Week, record your demand for a sustainable, fair policy and the promotion of fair trade on a pennant in our eineweltladen at Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Gymnasium. The garland with the collected demands will be presented to newly elected members of the Bundestag from our constituency after the election.

The FnF gGmbH organizes in cooperation with Think Global e.V. and Eine-Welt-Forum Mannheim e.V. an action week on fair and sustainable nutrition in the city canteens. The action week will take place in both canteens (canteen in the city hall E5 and canteen in the technical city hall) from September 20 to 24 from 11:30 to 13:30.

The German-Bosniak Cultural Association and the Omar-Al-Faruq Center are hosting an online event on September 18 starting at 6 p.m. entitled "We are ECOfit! - From ECOfit to Fair Mosque".
Description: In 2020, mosque communities also set out to strengthen environmental and climate protection in Mannheim with the ECOfit program. ECOfit is a funding program of the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy Management of the State of Baden-Württemberg. During workshops and consultation meetings, concrete measures were jointly developed to achieve more energy efficiency and consume fewer resources. Following input, there is an opportunity for joint discussion.

The Lukaskirche Women's Room team is hosting a clothing swap party on September 17, starting at 5 pm. The event will take place at Lukaskirche (Rottfeldstraße 16, Mannheim).
